Studio 1
Studio 1 holds a special place in our house as it was the first studio built here back in 1969, as an exact replica of Studio 2 at Abbey Road in London. Beneath the floor lies a sloping plane, inherited from its previous life as a cinema, creating a resonance box that adds a distinctive character to the room's acoustics.
The control room is fully integrated with Dolby Atmos technology, and one unique aspect of recording at IMRSV is that you can hear everything live in Dolby Atmos during the recordings. The newest addition to the studio is the large Dolby Atmos system in the live room, also known as The Salon, enhancing the experience so that wherever you are, you will be immersed by the music.
Studio 1 provides an inspiring and versatile space for artists and engineers alike. Its rich history, unique architecture, and state-of-the-art technology come together to create an environment where creativity knows no bounds. The recordings made here encompass a variety of genres, ranging from big band and string orchestra to rock and pop music.
Dolby Atmos certified studio since 2022
